It's official - selling my 600SEL - Melbourne, Australia

This has been on the cards for a while now.

I have an ad here: 1992 Mercedes Benz 600SEL W140 For Sale - AUD$4500

This a bit of an 'invitation only' sale, advertised here and to the Victorian Mercedes club.

Asking price is AUD$4500 firm - as is - with the condition that all my spares are taken too.

Very reasonable asking price Trevor

If it wasn't due to have three already - only one running at the moment - I'd be very interested

Still might be if my Coupe gets written off by the insurance company after last weeks bingle

All the Best to You and Yours

I haven't been contacted by anyone yet, so I may not have a choice. The condition of clearing my garage is probably off-putting.

$4500 is a bargain by AUS standards for a V12. For another $1500 or so the buyer could have my new parts installed and get a really good car. The lower harness is probably the biggest turnoff if paying someone else is necessary. I've been pondering doing this myself but my health is a problem. I tried changing the brake pads on my POS Nissan this weekend and nearly wrote off my back again. The lower harness isn't really all that hard, but requires some contorting and I'm not up to it.
