why do these tuners feel the need to lower them to this idiotic gangster-crawl height? is it to discourage driving to keep mileage low on the tune? you wouldn't be able to get that car in or out of the grocery store here in Beverly Hills...

vdubpower is correct. Over past 15 or so years, air suspension became increasingly popular as an aftermarket offering. Allows best of both worlds. With remote controlled settings in your cabin, you can (depending on kit) adjust rebound/compression rates as well as actual ride height. Often what you see in pics is simply for show, where the vehicle is so low to the ground it often cant be driven/front wheels cant be turned. Once the driver gets in and changes settings, the ride height increases (often in a couple of seconds due to air being stored for immediate use within a reservoir) to preset heights he/she chooses. And some kits now come with remote functions that allow you to change ride height from your smartphone.

Nice Benz but I don't like the rubber ebay spoilers and the Rhinoliner wheel treatment, especially on MAE's!

More of a 'hammered' powder coat effect. I wouldn't ruin those wheels like that either...

Never understood the slammed look.
What is the appeal of the car sitting on the ground and suspension being useless.
