Aux fans.

Guys. One of the auxiliary fans decided to work on and off. If I give it a jolt it usually come back on.

Can I replace just one fan or do I have to change out both ?

Most online shops donít specify they are selling a stand alone single fan or a replacement fan for dual setup.

Autohaus az has a fan that says left. This mightíve it.

Again. I started the car. It didnít work. Bit the fan with a hand and it bbs tarts working.

Thanks.

Hehe.

But yeah, are your fans running the whole time usually then? I guess it might be because it's really hot where you are, but according to the behaviour of both mine, and my AC guy, they should only come on when needed. AC pressure raising past a certain point, or engine temp the same.

We got the pressure wrong on my SE and the aux fan ran whenever I turned on the AC. Also the AC was sub par. So we adjusted the pressure as basically too much freon I think, and all was well again.

Aux fans.

Let some Freon out. Not my intention as the valve got stuck till I got it to close.
Low pressure at 45-50, was 60 yesterday.
Idling in 85F weather ac is blowing 50f. Both fans working since gave it a wack yesterday.
40f while moving.

Sounds like it's time for new brushes in your fan motor.
