Ow me kidneys!

Several years ago I was told by my state inspection guy that my kidneys were in poor shape and would likely not pass the following year. I inspected them and sure enough, they were pretty corroded. I slapped muffler putty all over them to give them a uniform appearance and attempt to hide the worst of it.

It has passed state inspection twice since then.

Here is a set of kidneys for $200. What do you guys think? It's my understanding that these can be difficult to locate.

Too late. I already ordered them. Bummer. I prob would have taken you up on that offer.

I'm curious how loud the car would be without them. I assume you guys simply had a muffler shop fabricate up a set of straight pipes to bridge the gap?

I replaced mine with the new type of cat and removed the original cat.
