Alignment??

Can't seem to find anyone in my area to do an alignment on my 84 300sd. I live in North Central PA. Any suggestions?

Dealer said they won't touch it. Found one guy but said he got rid of the equipment to do those kind of alignments.

Sorry to hear that.

Not familiar with your area, I guess you have to keep looking towards NY or NJ...

Good luck.

Equipment to align w126 is the same as equipment needed to align Maybach.

Reason you are being brushed off is people bring those cars in with front end FUBAR and $29.95 in their pocked. If it does not drive straight after they call BBB.

So any Mercedes dealer should be able to align my w126? Surprisingly she hasn't been aligned since 2001 and still doesn't wear tires that bad. She does pull though to the right. Put new tires on her in 2014.

Yes, of course. Problem is guys that used to work on those cars are six feet under.

How about it. Toyota mechanic friend of mine (42 year tech) went to align it last year and said he couldn't at Toyota because of some bar that holds the wheels apart, almost like a shower curtain he said it was like...

The bar thing isn’t mandatory. Only reason my camber is slightly off (but still well within spec) is due to lowering springs. But any good alignment shop/tech can align the w126

Look for a place with A Hunter machine. I tried so many places until I found that, thanks to the forum. What a total waste of money until that. After, it was like driving a different car. In the US its sometimes called a Mercedes alignment I believe. Or yeah any MB dealer.
