M117 560 SL Engine / Rocker Arm Adjustment

Hello,

I am hearing a slight ticking sound coming from one of the rocker arms, can the hydro rocker adjuster (see attached picture) be adjusted to reduce any slack?

Yikes, see the thread by me on this. The only adjustments are by getting different pucks under the rockers. You need a go no go tool to check things though

Just read through (parts) of your odyssey - I luckily only have a slight ticking sound coming from one single rocker.

What do you suggest, go for a thinner pluck?

You have to get the gauge and figure if you need a thinner or thicker puck. In my case I needed thinner since I had a valve job done. I have a few I could send but again I need to know size

They should not need adjustment over the life of the engine. That's what the hydraulic compensator is for. Either your compensator is not holding pressure as it should or you have abnormal wear of either the cam or the rocker (or both). Any way you look at it, adjusting it is a temporary cure at best.
