SEC Coupe AMG Body-kit "going to the dark side"

With my white coupe this is something i have agonised over for a long time

I have owned a genuine Gen2 AMG full bodykit (including rear trunk wing) for some years but never fitted it

Since morphing the white coupe into one body colour a few years back i have been happy with that change and really like the Gen2 coupe in standard body form as it came from the factory

However after owning the white coupe for 10yrs now i decided what the heck it is time for another change and have started the morphing process last weekend

Rear bumper work is done and front skirt is now fixed on and some blending work done to ensure a tight join at the seam edge
I wanted to get to a classic cars and coffee meet Sunday morning so just rocked up with half the work done to gauge some feedback

Side-skirts will be swapped in soon and then remove the bumpers again to colour match paint including more colour matching paint on the side cladding to blend it all in and then add the AMG trunk wing once that is also all sanded back and primed and painted

So here are some progress pics for work done so far

The chin spoiler looks great. I also have one that has been sitting in the garage forever. How did you attach it??

Nothing "dark side" about what you're doing, Kim.

Looks awesome so far.

Nice, white seems to be one of the better colors for this stuff. Hope your streets/roads are in better shape then some of the ones where I live, the folks that run Seattle seem more worried about things they have no business butting into and can't be bother keeping the streets in good repair.

That AMG kit would last about a week here if you were lucky.

I liked it without, but it will make an awesome finished product. Especially in that colour and with those wheels
