LED Light Fitment

I am starting this new thread simply for actual replacement information and not any of the how to data. Please do not post with, “well I like blue LED’s because”...... I am just looking for factual bulb information to change the incandescent bulbs on the W126’s to LED and that don’t throw the bulb out indicator. Please let us know brand, cost, model number and place of purchase. Also tell us what socket you put them in. I am really looking for actual use that people have tried. I will compile a spreadsheet with the information and post it later. I already have info on door courtesy lights, glove box, overhead and turn signals.

i cant recall the brand i tried...im sure its somewhere on one of threads where we discussed them...it was a amazon purchase, maybe 40 bucks....scatter and hard to focus...bright white was cool but useless without projection and focus....have the flosser 90/100 w in the car now but still need to get relay situation sorted...

Led for H3 fogs for sec may be something to consider as they are less for focus

I used these for my courtesy lights and the two by the license plate holder: Sylvania 6418SLBP
These for my trunk (and I think for the front/rear dome light too?): Sylvania 6411LEDBP

Would be great to get everything converted. There are some I definitely have no idea where to start (instrument cluster, the small 2w bulbs that go in the climate control / seat belt warning area of dome / etc)

He has a video showing how plus either warm or cool LED lights for the cluster--he checked them to make sure they won't pull too much power. https://mercedessource.com/store/sea...=cluster%20led
Apparently they don't currently offer options for the rest of the interior, or at least the console area.

I am kinda stymied here in that if I do an excel sheet, once I post it you really can't edit it, and others really can't see it, so how do I start this so we have a way to add to it later. Without the console lights I need to fill in information on

Courtesy door lights
Sylvania 6418SLBP

Glove Box

Front Overhead
Sylvania 6411LEDBP

Rear Overhead

Third Brake Light

Dash turn signal indicator lights

Dash illumination lights

Dash Warning lights (about 6)

Front Turn Signal

Turn Marker Light

Fog Lights

Head Lights (many posts on these already)

Trunk Light
Sylvania 6411LEDBP

License PLate Lights

Rear Turn Signal

Rear Brake Light

Rear Tail Light

Back up LIght

Some of you have already provided information and I would simply put it next to the light area. Open to ideas

The easiest wAy and most convenient as far as this forum is concerned is to post all those categories in your first post in this thread , put the part numbers for each bulb below each type of bulb so people can search their for their own sellers (as sellers will change over time ) plus put a few limks to online sellers for each bulb . An amazon link and other sites . That way people who are lazy or not computer savvy can just click and buy

I'm happy to tidy things up and move around if needed, you can just add to your thread here. If needed just put where you want it and I'll sort it.

you can use a shared google sheets document? I've seen that used in other forums.
