Just a FYI or for reference I believe I paid about $300 to have a muffler shop install Tri-Y's on my SEC a couple years ago. I provided new gaskets for mounting to the heads.

Lol. Yeah. Soon. My mechanic doesn't do exhaust so I'm trying to coordinate with muffler shop to get it done... I've ordering the two MagnaFlow tonight. The 11 center and 14 inch for rear. I guess I'll just go with that sans a x pipe.

I want my Mercedes mechanic to do the headers install because he knows these motors better than an exhaust shop.

So I'll pass on exhaust tape... Read some things that if I have ceramic then better not to tape on top.

I'm in the same process. Did you order stock OEM gaskets? Are the ones on the original U.S. model manifolds the same (part number and all)?

If ordering the Magnaflow 14inch rear case with internal x-pipe then don't put a x-pipe up front - not necessary

Well that's what I figured by just going exactly as u specified.... Ideally I want the sec to have more bark than SEL... I think I posted video of start up earlier some where....that's why I thought should I do x pipe after the down pipes, skip middle res and just use a big box in rear....
