Euro dark amber corners for the SEC, any leads?

Does anyone have or know where i can find a set of new or used as new corner lights for my 560sec. My car came with clear which I replaced with US amber, temporarily. I can even trade is anyone needs clear or us ambers.
I tried ebay with no luck!

UK ebay? Search for "indicators" (that's what Brits call them).

That's what I was thinking of doing. I assume they are as dark as those in Germany etc, though I can't say for sure. Looking at pictures on ebay is tough - some look dark, others don't, and it's often just the way the photos are lit.

I agree it's pretty tough from just looking at the pictures of lamps online!

This picture of a W124 is pretty helpful in bringing out the difference:

I can barely tell the difference. So Iím guessing that if my 500sec has the desirable stuff, and I can swap in US Amber, letís do it. Money talks! :-)

That DupliColor paint works really well, I've done a bunch of lights since that thread and they hold up to weather and UV for a long time.

Best part you control how deep you want the color to be by the number of coats, if you pass the number of coats to get amber it starts to turn into a fantastic smoked candy colored orange.

To be precise, it is not paint but rather a clear with pigments added and no, it doesn't need polish.

FONzi you have the dark amber . It should be easy to tell next to a USA light orange light .

Sounds like you found your lights op !

Color aside, Euro lights also do not have reflectors.
