My Becker Grand Prix has bluetooth function. How do I use it?

Hi all,

When I bought my '89 300SE last year, the seller told me he had sent the Becker Grand Prix unit to Becker for repair, and that although they couldn't add an aux line, they had added bluetooth functionality instead.

I never figured out how to use it and forgot all about it. To be honest, I thought he was lying (there were other things about the car he didn't disclose). So for the last year I've been listening to my iPhone through an old-school tape adapter.

Yesterday, when I got in the car and turned the radio on to a local NPR station, through the speakers I could hear a computer voice saying "Bluetooth mode active." Perplexed, I went straight to my iphone menu for bluetooth and found a new device called "FM 30." I connected to it and lo and behold, I was streaming music to the Becker via Bluetooth!

But after a couple of minutes it cut out and I couldn't reconnect to FM 30. I cannot for the life of me work out how to put the Becker back into Bluetooth mode.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Craig

Odd that they couldn't add an aux input.
