Yeah, even a Bambi hit would still have some good meat left. Years ago a friends wife hit one just up the street from their house coming home from work. Said she came in all "boo hooing" about messing up the car . . . . . . He ran up and retrieved it (knowing it was fresh hit) came back and looked over her car figuring a fender, maybe the grill, NOPE, broke just the headlight (sealed beam) didn't even bend the mounting ring JUST the headlight. THAT deer sure was good at the New Years Eve party he had, smoked the hams and you could cut them with a fork
