W126 Owners manual

Greetings everyone.
Pete from New Zealand here. I have a 1991 W126 300SE but no owners manual. If anyone should know of a link where I might be able to download one I would be most grateful.
Many thanks.
Cheers,
Pete

It's in the "OM" directory of my CD set. I suspect you'll find it in the downloadable set as well. Check the stickies at the top of the forum.

Erm, 300 - M103?

A note on the manuals - they changed a little over the years. Well, possibly not in the US markets but elsewhere in the world.
In particular the power outputs quoted are different - for example on the 420's there were three different outputs over the 2nd gen cars. The M103 may have been different, not sure.
The basic stuff is mostly the same but its worth checking the print date to match the car.

W126 300SEL = M103 engine

Obviously, there will be differences between RHD and LHD cars.

The W201 has a free to download manual in the stickies which includes the 2.6 L version of the M103. Should be 90+% the same.

W124 and W140 for some years both used the M103 engine

As these 126 did have a lot of engine types fitted .So looking for one, it would be time consuming only to be another type.

Welcome to The Machine Meinhard, you're gonna love your car, I owned one for 12 years before the "coupe bug" bit me. What everyone so far said is correct. You have the M103 6 cylinder engine that was shared with a couple of other chassis' but the basic 126 stuff is covered in the 2 disc manuals. Engine specific stuff is on disc 1 but as was mentioned there are some differences depending on the market it was sold in and whether LHD or RHD. The M103 is basically a "bomb proof" engine with it's biggest Achilles heel being the head gasket leaking oil where the V8's are chain guides

Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints
