There are few cars out there that ooze more masculinity, and brute power than a widebody SEC.

Perfect.

I love the AMG WB, i don't think it is overdone for the street. Much more common car overseas in the states it seems, almost every guy and his dog seems to have one. But to see one down under would be a real sight.

I don't want my car to ooze masculinity. Perhaps that's my problem. There's a very fine line between sexy and powerful being tastefully stated and overwrought. I think Sacco got it 98 percent right the first time, with the car only benefitting from the items I mentioned in my first post.

Its like my buddies wife. After 3 kids she was still a total stunner and twisted guys necks all day long. She had a shape that any woman (and most men) would die for. Then she got some reGoddamndiculous bolt-ons and inflated her lips with fat. And then topped the ensemble off with two huge tats. Now, she's become a bit of a freak show.

Sorry to derail the thread. Back to the car.

I totally agree - that fat lip rage in USA is like a freak show (as with the silicon injected pumped up bum - that is totally totally gross)
Bring back the normal lips and tight arse of the 80's

But widebody in W126 SEC form is scarce and mystique and muscular - love it

Widebody Sec are what got me interested in Mercedes as a kid
Otherwise they looked like stodgy cars for rich old geezers

This one is amazing . I'm tempted to sign up to bid. If this goes for under $40k it will be a screaming deal

Your perception about these being "common" in the states is highly flawed. I wish these were more widely available but they are still very rare especially the 6.0

It only seems that these are common because whenever they get imported from Japan they usually get posted here first since these forums are where the enthusiasts are at which will stir up the most interest.

I'll be attending the auction in January. Anybody else thinking of going?

Amazing we were all pickering over a $7k authentic wide body which (at the time) was unregisterable in CA.
