Keep us posted.

Eventually, we all are going to need our fuel distributors rebuilt and CIS Flowtech has been the only game in town for a while.

One of the many things done today was get the correct wheels all of you have been noting. These are post merger but most people wonít know. I decided to refinish the wheels as original AMG did regarding color. The center caps are aftermarket though. Attached is a recent picture. Also put in a new crank position sensor (those will soon be nla) and adjusted the hood pin. Only thing left to do is find some amg type side skirts and a rear bumper spoiler. I do have a front Euro bumber with the spoiler and a rear Euro bumper just waiting for paint. Mercedes did ask for me to bring it to a picnic for their financial group this summer so that will be fun. Also have been driving the R129 for a while and the 10 years difference in tecnology between those two cars is amazing. Alas one has to go so it will be that one. It was fun and fast while it lasted but trying to keep up is wearing on me. Take care

A while ago I purchased a used set of wheels for my car. They needed refinishing so I sent them off to a great firm in Delaware. We put the four wheels in a box, on a pallet, taped it all up, strapped it down and called for pickup. A few days go by the the refinisher calls and tells me only three showed up, and the three that showed up were not in a box. So one was lost. These were Aero 1 pre merger so not easy to get. Well that sucks and breaks up the set but like a good person I file a claim thinking it will show up. Nope, and look what I get from the trucking firm! Just a lesson, don't trust the shippers. I now have one post merger wheel and two pre merger wheels at the refinisher. Yikes seems like they are willing to give me $5.00 for the wheel

Sorry to hear about your lost rim.

Always get your own insurance and have them deal with the service provider.

It seems John, if there is bad luck to be found you will find it. So sorry for your loss man. That transport companyís response is totally unfair.

Replaced the SLS accumulators on my 380SEC. Fluid flush, new filter and replaced my horribly discolored reservoir with a really tidy one I picked up for a few bucks at a "u pull it" yard!

In case it helps since you're into it, Kent recommends replacing the fabric reservoir hose with a gas line type rubber hose--the fabric ones eventually weep from the inside out.

Tried the cleaning windscreen with razor blade. Seemed to work well, amazing what comes off your screen. I imagine its possible to realy scratch up your screen if you aren't careful though.

Have you applied for the high mileage badge? You'd qualify for the first one (155k miles) and you're creeping toward the 2nd one (310k miles)
232+K here. I got a badge for the SE years ago and thought about one for the SEC but to me the grill would look cluttered with a bunch of badges. I thought about getting a Euro/German grill badge plus mileage badges but never did because of the grill size
