@khigh : I hate to say those euro bumpers are already gone. I hadn't bought the car they were on yet, and looks like I missed my chance.

@Dr.Grillz : I have one in the darker amber color. Right side is excellent, but if you needed the left to color match, that one has a chipped corner. Let me know if that works.

@Jake007 : here is the part number for a rear gasket, if you don't already have it: 126-670-02-39. They still carry rubber for cars much older than a 1991, so I imagine you can still get it easily.

All the dealers say they don't have it. Not in the US or Germany. The first twenty organic google search results all say they have the part but, when you call or go ahead and buy the part online, they do not have it.

Everything I've heard on 126 is that they're "single use". So you wouldn't find a used one. I need one in probably the next year for my SD, but fortunately not for a while on the SEC. Maybe MB will do a run of them.

Not sure what part you are referring to. if its 126-670-02-39 that part is available.

For almost any part I order I check this website first to see if MB has it anywhere. If a dealer says they cant get it, then they're BS. call classic center then.

All the MB dealer sites and a lot of the other use generic parts databases, so it always shows up as orderable. And they are right, it is orderable, its just not deliverable......

Mercedes-Benz Classic Ersatzteile

BTW you have to put an "A" in front of any regular part number and an "N" for hardware. no spaces or dashes.

Parting out 1991 420SEL. Email me to [email protected] with what you may need.

Reason for part out was that the timing chain guide decided to extricate itself through the valve cover.
