On their W126 48hp , alydon, trooper6, jonwhite99 & others did Try-Y's, cat & exhaust system, plus had the engines re done to AMG 5.4 specs (Motorwerks National City) with lighter, larger valves, manual lifters, hotter cams etc, and came out with around 340hp with engines still idling well.

Oh. I am just doing the Tri-Y not the other things. I am really intrigued about putting a m119 in the SEC by getting a complete donor car. I know it's not easy so o am going to be happy with the Tri-Ys now.

Has all been done. Satish's defunct site mbcoupes had a big SEC M119 write up, same engine wound up later in AxelWulff's SEC (should still be somewhere on the web), he later installed a V12

When Ross aka 420 SE was visiting L.A. and we all checked out ex Bergwerkssteve aka Steve Lemberg's garage and his SEC V12 project
There was also a W124 CE with 5.0 Ford Mustang engine

That's probably enough off topic in the FS

FS - W126 Paper Service Manuals

Looking to see if there is any interest for these...

I have both W126 Chassis & Body and Climate Control manuals. Worn but in generally good condition. I might also have an ETM as well, I have to look in the pile and will update later today.

Interested? Let me know and make me an offer.

Dan

here's another photo but in lighter color so it is easier to make out. there is confusion by saying drivers seat (due to euro vs US versions).

its the LH seat, outer trim pieces i am trying to find (in BLUE) -->

thanks again for looking !

any sedan model from a junkyard will do. You may have to paint it to match and SEM brand either has the color or you can have the SEM paint made with the code.
