I am selling my '89 Mercedes-Benz W126 300 SE located at Sacramento, CA. Dark grey car with light grey leather interior. Despite our first intention was to slowly fix it and restore it, we cannot afford that. Indeed, we have already spent a little bit more than $3500 fixing the fuel pump and doing some improvements through the Mercedes-Benz dealer of Rocklin, CA. More specifically, it drives normally but needs a jump start. Also, we have to pass the SMOG test and we believe it is going to fail. Even if at the dealer they told us it is because the O2 sensor, we don't know if it is going to be more complicated than that, probably the catalyst.

We used it as a daily driver around town and works great. You know what I am talking about, despite it is 27 years old, its gentle riding, the spacious cabin, the quality of the materials and the plentiful equipment still surprise me. We love this car but cannot spend more money on the restoration right now. Moreover, it needs a jump start. I don't know if it is the battery because the car runs as normally and does not shut down. However, when you turns the key off, it does not start again. Odometer does not work.

I would not have to drive it to the junkyard...

I am asking $950 or best offer.

Thank you

I have attached more pictures of the car.

It definitely needs to be painted. Paint fade away. The good news is that it doesn't have any rust as far as I have been able to notice. I believe that being a SoCal car helped to that. I moved up north a year ago and I brought the car with me. On this time here at Sacramento, the car has mostly been parked on a covered spot.

Wanted: Vanity mirror black

Hi,

I'm looking for a black Gen 2 vanity mirror.
Don't need the whole visor.

Possibly also a black third brake light and Gen 2 rear speaker covers.

Thanks!
