Cab Hardtop....at a Pick Pull Yard

All my years frequenting pull yards I have seen maybe 1 or 2 Cabs. I was looking at LKQ pull yards online and stumbled across a 93 300CE-24 with the rare hardtop. Looks to have minimal body damage. Most likely a grey market car as the hardtop was never offered in US as well as the climate control unit being different.
Always wonder what possesses a person, that owned such a rare and unique car, to sell it to a salvage yard.
If anyone near Atlanta has a cab and wants the optional hardtop (assuming it is still there), go to LQK in Fayetteville, GA. I only ask for the Sportline steering wheel (also assuming it is still there) as a finders fee😁.

That is the manual climate control system, the most frequent one in Europe.

Nice find on the hard-top.... my father has just recently found a burgundy one in Germany or so, bought it and is now a 904 navy blue hard top on his A124

odd that car has a facelift grill and lights, the US model 1993 300CE, 124.066, had the classic hood and grill, 124.061, the 300CE-24 cabrio, was never sold in the USA. The 93 US model had the 3.2L engine etc.

If someone is in the Atlanta area and grabs this I will pay for the cost of the part plus an extra $125 for picking it up. I can drive from Tampa whenever just dont want to drive all the way there to find out it's gone.
