92 300E 4matic - help finding centerlink part

So, I'm really sorry, I know the pictures are not a lot to go by but I would be unbelievably appreciative if someone can manage to point me out to what Center Link I need.

My car is currently at the mechanic, and he sent me these pictures because he can't seem to figure out which part I need, he's ordered 4 different ones and none of them fit. As far as I know the car should have been stock save the head and brake lights.

I'm at a total loss as what to do and every day my car is at the shop it gets harder to get to work, you know? I appreciate any help at all!

Super bonus points if you can show or give me the information to be able to find that specific part on amazon or partsgeek or anywhere it's not a billion dollars, thanks so much guys!

Its not really clear if you are talking about the center link or the steering stabilizer. Both of those parts should be available from Mercedes Benz.

I was told the centerlink is what was broken by the mechanic. I honestly know nothing about cars. When I was under the car there was this bar that went across almost from wheel to wheel unless I'm remembering it poorly, and there was a little joint, knuckle thing that had way more play than it should have and it was causing my wheels to violently wobble when coming up to speed and stopping.

You have to find a parts place that has OE parts for the 4Matic cars. I'm not impressed by your mechanic's 'guessing game'. If he can find the appropriate tie rods with the 'snake squiggle' ends, then he can find the center link.

First get the right MB part's number from a member who has EPC.....use your VIN #. You haven't told us a yr or car........like TE or sedan.

The 'bar that goes clear across' is a sway bar and on the 4Matics they have sealed ends that bolt back....not at all like the center link. You're causing some confusion here.

This is for my car & yr....probably what you're describing, but it doesn't 'go clear across from wheel to wheel'....it's a center link that also accepts the steering shock damper.

https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/19..._assembly.html

Scroll down to where is says 'Genuine'.
You can't cheap out on 4Matic parts....you try to go aftermarket on specific 4Matic suspension parts and you'll be in a world of hurt. I'm not syaing that's your best price, but go OE.

A lot sell 4m parts, but when they come it's 2wd parts. For 4m parts will oem/om parts be safe.
