As I said, 0W-40 is for later FSS generation cars.
I see this argument often on this site. So:

Hugh Hefner, (in his latter years), sees a pretty girl, takes a look at the bottle of Viagra on the table, and says "Shoot, this didn't exist when I was born. It isn't good for me and hence I won't use it!"???

@ local Walmart and so happy they still have stock of 0W-40 FS. Sadly, can get ONLY ONE $10 certificate towards the future purchase of Mobil oil @ Walmart/per household. I was expecting you could get two. One 5 qt jug for me for now.

Sorry if I wasn't very accurate.

Would not hesitate to put Mobil 1 0W-40 FS in any MB car I have listed. (As long as NO DPF, so far the ONLY exception is vehicles with DPF).

Last time I had the E63 in for service at the dealer I complained my manual says NO 5W-40. They put 5W-40 anyways, and printed me a tech sheet saying it's okay.

Next year I decided to do the oil change at home. Mobil 1 0W-40 FS is what I used. (Still have some Mobil 1 0W-40 in the cupboards. You need to use the oil within 5 years of purchase for their warranty, at least here in the USA).
