Backyard mac or qualified,i dont think he should attempt an electrical issue after all OVP is an electrical issue unless

Heads up for everybody.
Don't buy OvP on ebay.
I bought one and that's a p o s
First i notice that the weight was about the half on the one from ebay.
I put it in to my car, and it works well for a while. Then one day the car didn't stop.
I have a custom car, 190e with a m111 kompressor engine (thread at this forum).
I use the ovp to controll the ecu.
This failure will you not get on a stock car.
You stop the enige with cuting the spark, and then the power on the je-tronic just keep standing on. The seller didn't heard of this problem before. That's because everyone driving this stock, but that ovp is a bad product. I solder the old ovp with a lot of tin and it's better than new

It isn't a matter that the ovp came from an eBay seller. The problem is that you purchased a cheap knock off replacement rather than spend proper money for an OE or Kalher unit.

There are numerous post on this subject.
