92 300d sunroof

ive been searching thru the forum hoping somebody had a similiar problem but couldnt find anything. Any advice on whats wrong with my sunroof?

I dont see what the issue is, all I see is the vent being opened and closed

If you push the button it goes up, if you pull button back it opens. If you push button forward it closes.

Then there is something wrong. Might be the actual switch. If the adjustment wheel located in the trunk has been messed with things wont work right until its fine tuned again.

Wait a minute. What I see is only the passenger side tilting up and the drivers side is barely lifting at all. The entire rear of the sunroof should lift evenly.

I thought I saw that too...wasn't sure by the angle of the video. But if so yeah something is broken.

both sides tilt up and just stops. you can hear the motor moving. the liner piece on the drivers side is loose and doesnt move up like the passenger side
