The proper GP relay for the OM606.910 in the '95 W124 E300 Diesel is the type without the strip fuse.

Thank you @sbaert . I would guess the inline fuse is for the later OM606 that aren't fully mechanical which need the extra protection?

I got my car back temporarily until i get my hands on a Glow plug relay. I swapped out OVP's and the car does start quicker but still have a problem with the GP relay light turning on and off and random times.I have been searching through the E300D threads to see what else i can figure out.

Every OM606, whether be it W124, W210, G class I've come across always has the GP relay without the visible strip fuse. The relay has a internal fuse.

I think the OM602/603 were the last to use the relay with the strip fuse.

Being a '95, make sure that the glow plug light coming isn't being caused by eco junk wiring harness. MB p/n# 124 440 40 32

Been a while since i posted! Here are the updates!

Been going through a lot of personal problems so thats one of the reasons i have been absent from the forum for so long. I will upload some pictures of work that has been done to my car. Got the flex disc changed out along with the transmission mount, both those replacements improved the thump i been having for too long. The flex disc was completely trashed! I'm super thankful it didn't explode on me driving on the freeway which it probably would have looking at the condition of it.

My car ended up getting stolen while i was at the UPS store shipping out the wheels! It was completely my fault though, I filed a police report and all that stuff and weird thing was the person or people who stole my car took most of everything out of it and when they dumped the car that same day, the lady that lives at the house ended up looking through the car and checked the trunk and saw my insurance papers from when i got rear ended and found me on facebook!

Turns out she messaged me that same day asking me if i was going to pick up my car? I didnt see the message until a couple days later because on my messenger you have to accept the message request before you can read it. She didn't hear back from me so the car ended up getting towed away and when i finally saw her message it was too late for me to get it back from her place. I ended having to pay the 160$ impound fee (which i don't feel like i should have since it was a stolen recovery) and pay 140$ for a new Bosch battery. After all was said and done got my car back and was super relieved it wasn't that trashed, they even left me my keys.

I ended up replacing my trunk since it had a dent in it from when i backed up into a pole, i found one on craigslist from a guy that was parting out a W124. The guy didn't know what gem he had on his hands and said make him an offer on the trunk so i said 20$ and he accepted! The trunk has a genuine AMG spoiler on it which i personally love. It has some clear coat issues but that will be fixed sometime in the future. Here are the pictures cuz that always makes a post more enjoyable.

Parts car??

During my time off the forum i ended up buying a super clean parts car for 450$. Its a 1993 300E Upgraded wiring harness, If anyone is looking for parts let me know! The interior is in excellent condition. I'm aware its black and in the arizona summer its going to be brutal but its definitely an upgrade from my current interior which has some rips and tears here and there.
