corrected, yes just driving school cars.
In my time, mandated practical driving with instructor (in those dual control cars) was a minimum of 15 hours.
I read to get a German driving license now costs between 1,500 - 2 K Euro.
Cheers

I did that too in 1982(?) but do not remember how much hours where needed. Compared to that the American drivers license was easy.

Enjoy!

All these years later, this thread still makes me dry heave in laughter, tears in my eyes.

I just read this thread cover to cover, ridiculousness.
As soon the Horscht (Horse-shit) friend showed up defending his friend the Electric Horseman the split personality became evident, and I knew this thread was a scam. Horseshit says that EH worked on John Deere tractors for his father, well I worked on a 1980 John Deere 430, a diesel of course, and the fasteners were metric, so EH should have already had a set of metric tools. And his refusal to prove anything with a set of photos. Horscht would of course use 2 computers so the moderators would see different MAC addresses. HS Always trying to defend the idiocracy of his pseudo friend EH. I read it all to see what time period this covered. Some of the responses were superb, but I feel I wasted too much time reading this novella.

I just came across this thread by accident, but boy the first 10 pages or so were just HILARIOUS! Scam or not, it was good fun though novelty wore off a little as the thread continued - still, time well spent!

Seriously though, this is the MOST ENTERTAINING THREAD EVER! :P
