I see. I might give up on the swap if I dont find something soon and just replace motor with the stock motor but even those are hard to find.

You're going with an M119 right? How much are you invested and have any photos of your progress?

I was going to yes but I kind of had a change of heart and want to keep everything original and restore everything with the original motor.

Nothing wrong with that. Which engine does your 108 have in it today? Theres also a guy up in Grass Valley that has multiple 108/109's that are pretty clean.

Metric Motors, Inc. ? WE'VE GOT YOUR MERCEDES-BENZ ENGINE <- Decent resource for a rebuilt engine.

I have the 2.8 fuel injected motor. Also the thing I am also missing many hoses and stuff so I am looking for a full running and driving donor car so I can get everything together

Coincidentally, my swap has started in earnest this week. '97 M119 5.0 & 722.6 assembled on the bench. She goes on the lift this week for the M189 extraction and test fitting of the M119. Will post updates in a new thread.

Whoa, Mr Woolf, that looks like a beauty! Are you going to do all the trans tunnel raising like what was suggested, or are you going to change the steering? And what rear end are you going to use? Cheers, Drew
