Is it like drone drone drone, a constant thing, and you can feel in all over?
It will mean box out and new torque converter.

Youve done the right thing by servicing it as i've had servicing fix the issue before, but there is a couple things that can caus this.
One thing about light commercial 5 speeds is that the converter is on early and on in every gear, so it gets a workout, on a passenger car it is only on in 4th and 5th.
there is a newer transmission control module that reduces this vibration which will be big bucks and also the old one probably already done the damage to the converter
have the converter rebuilt and see if you can score a newer part number ETC control module off a identical vehicle as they are interlocked to the vehicles equipment(or find someone who can revirginise the control unit to have it coded to yours).

Hi. I think i have the same issue. I get a sort shudder / drone sometimes when going up hill, like the engine is struggling, if I drop a gear its fine. How can I check if its the TC, would that show up on a diagnosis?
