In my opinion youíd be better installing a regulator permanently on your vehicle, just before the coupling. Any regulator fitted to individual tools is likely to be cumbersome and need adapters to make it fit.
Youíll need to select the correct regulator based upon the maximum incoming pressure and range of outgoing pressures. Most are adjustable but donít be put off - itís set and forget and is usually locked in place to keep the pressure setting.
Youíll also need to consider the fitting type.
I purchased this one for mine & set it to 10 bar
Be sure to select a pneumatic rather than hydraulic regulator.
I also purchased a pressure gauge for mine which simply screwed into the side of the regulator.
