Very Nice indeed. Thanks for starting the thread.
I find that I am always outside the box while parked in a camping spot, unless the weather or insects drive me inside. You'd never describe the Head Wound Box as a camper - I've described it as 'An Armored Tent', but as odd as it is, it is functional for me, and the truck camps well for my style. I'm mainly in it to sleep, and no complaints there.
For years in Baja (and wherever else), my buddy and I were Pick-Up truck based, and we just had cab high shells. A bed, with (drag-out) storage underneath, our kitchens were recreated on the tailgates every time we needed a meal. Simple, functional, and flexible. We could pull 2-3 week trips down the Baja peninsula without much planning. Of course, we lived on Coffee, Omelettes, Tacos, and Beer, the typical surf bum extravagance.
I'm looking forward to your build, and I am interested in cross sections of door/compartment seals, just to compare what solutions are out there.
