Hi BW'ers - Has there been any progress on access to the new EPC? It would be very useful while tinkering with the 406

Thanks for the offer Paul - I now have access to the new Xentry system via the Gaggenau Unimog Club. It doesn't recognise my 406 VIN, but at least gives me everything for that model.

Ok, I'm stumped! How do I access the new EPC? I'm in the UK and have asked MB UK, my local dealer and technical at the Unimog museum. No one has been able to help. I subscribed to the old system last year without realising it wouldn't work on my Mac and so Snap On refunded my fee. Am I correct in thinking the new system is compatible with my Mac?

The system I'm using is browser based so no reason you can't access it from your Mac. I joined the Gaggenau museum and then joined the Parts Portal which gave me access to this site https://aftersales.i.daimler.com/por...es/index.faces. I'm sure there are other ways to join, but the museum route worked for me. As mentioned previously, it doesn't recognize my 406 VIN, but does give me the correct details. It does recognize my U1300L vin.

I'll try the museum again. I've no idea why they didn't suggest the same to me. Did they offer it to you or did you ask for it specifically to gain access?

Once you have joined the museum there's an option to join the parts portal.
