Hanging out with 500 of my closest friends.... well mostly jeeps.... and I only knew about 10 people..... Winter 4x4 Jamboree was pretty packed this year. Good times, only leaned the truck sideways onto 2 tires 3 times but was able to turn into it and self recover The Maze on Friday and Chain Reaction on Saturday. That is a FUN and extremely technical trail Not so full size friendly though as my blazer and ram charger friends discovered.

I was having fun Saturday pushing some dirt around for my friend. Then I got a little too close to the edge...thank God she didn't go all the way over! Right headlight got wet and a foot of air under the left rear tire made for an exciting few seconds. We attached a winch line to the high corner to keep it from rolling any further in the bad direction and engaged crawler gear on the Mog and winched and drove it out.

Yikes!!

I did something similar plowing last year. Dropped a rear tire over the edge of the road where there was a culvert. The weight of the truck and ballast , pulled the whole thing into the ditch and flopped it over on it's side. One high side tire in the air, another just barely touching the road surface. Scared the crap out of me.

I didn't have anyone or thing around to winch with but eventually ended up driving it out just like you did.

Good show.

It's all in how you use it. Myself I know my rubi is the biggest fish in it's pond but is no competition for a mog. However see MassMog and that silver rubi that goes where it shouldn't. All in how you use it.

That said, I completely concur with your feelings on the matter and encourage your behavior.

Yee'doogies! That looks like a great laugh after the fact, not so much during. The great mog part is that you just casually backed it up.
