Based on what little information you've provided your ask is extremely optimistic. In reality it would be under $10k, and that's if it's a really outstanding example with current maintenance and good provenance. At present neither of those criteria have been met.

You can see some examples of such to compare to with real world selling prices here:

https://bringatrailer.com/search/mercedes+e320/

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the link. I guess 10k would be more realistic so if anyone wants to look at the car PM me and we will talk.

Again, based on the lack of provenance and condition, I don’t see this car being worth top of the market price. Just looking at the condition of the steering wheel is enough to tell me it needs some attention. $6k-$8k would be more like it in my opinion. But hey, if you can find someone who will give you $10k for it, take the money and run!

Good luck with the sale!

One of the big things you have going for you is having the hydraulic cylinders reconditioned. I have done it on a w124 cabriolet and I know how labor intensive it is. A big plus for a buyer not to have to worry about the convertible top working.

Thanks. It was quite the job and I'm glad that the cylinder rebuilder used a more durable seal than Mercedes does. I think Mercedes does a huge disservice toward their customer base when they design these things to fail after 10 years or so. Don't they know it's hurting their reputation as a "quality" car manufacturer??

Mercedes have been "hand built" for years. I'm confused by these sorts of claims and would appreciate clarification.
