The salvage title means nothing. Every hose of the vacuum system has been replaced and the injectors and the water pump(wtf) and the alternator and the belt tensioner and all the sensors and the ECU, and the trans. was rebuilt at Boulevard Auto in Van Nuys @ 100k. miles. The AC blows cold and the tires are very good This car chirps into 2nd if you want it to. And if you're in los angeles and will give it a good home, come and drive it. I have 2 days to sell this.

And the fan clutch, and the fan clutch pulley, and the neutral safety switch, and the ignition switch, and the radiator and the battery, and the OVP, and the upper timing case cover gasket, and the charcoal cannister, and the catalytic converter, and the voltage regulator, and the speedometer cable and the cold start valve and the 3 vacuum solonoids. I've had an over-active Autohauz account since 2011.

Wow , 175 views and 2 replys. I guess that salvage title thing is a killer. And not even nasty trolling or some simple queries. Maybe I'm the only brave Mercedes Enthusiast Idiot out there. Really?.......btw, I've been posting on this forum about this car since I got it, you could look up all that if you were interested.........but your not. This is my daily driver in Los Angeles, the toughest environment for any vehicle let alone a 28 year old Merc. So as I'm driving to Kentucky tomorrow, it will sit in my now x-wifes driveway in Laurel Canyon until I can get back to it.

Calm down man. 175 views is peanuts. Worry when you get 17500 views and 2 replies.

You have been upfront - and you have forum respect for that.

If your coupe has current California Smog tag - and no CEL's - that's another plus for you.

If your 300 Coupe has already had the updated head gasket installed - original head gasket was a BIG problem for those years that engine - if you have the updated head gasket in your 300 then that's another BIG plus for you.

Yes - a salvage title does hold it back - but NO PRICE FROM YOU holds you back more.

If you are looking to sell it - and need to sell it - then you need to put YOUR PRICE on it - if you are unsure go to edmunds.com and know what that impartial 3rd party value guide says

Forum members here are polite - and they don't want to have a back-n-forth on price with you - they want cash-n-carry and you want cash-n-carry too !

A few photos and no price = no interest. Most listings state a price and if the seller is in a hurry will indicate "best cash offer". We don't know if you want $500, $1500, or some ridiculous price like $5000. Pic's looked ok to me and I do buy w124 coupes. Salvage title reduces your audience to about 3-5% of potential buyers. PM me if you want an immediate cash offer. Just be realistic. GLWS Mike
