ABC Fluid type

I'm trying to confirm if Mercedes-Benz oil A 001 989 24 03 13 is suitable for the ABC system in the R230 SL's. I got it at the parts counter at a dealer but they barely understood what I was asking for and all the DIYs I've seen are on the older side so I'm not sure if theres been any changes in the last few years. Thanks!

Actually in a round about way you have confirmed what I wanted to know, referring to https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevolisten/345.0_en.html, both fluids are listed together. Case closed.

Speaking of MB fluids. The other day I found my SL55 AMG's supply of it (CFH whatever ) Alien blood on my garage floor and the car down on the bump stops.
Investigating showed a burst had hose. the main pressure line form the pump to the control valve had split.
AH simple I think, wrong the hose was not a replaceable part and the part was the entire pipe/hose/pipe from the valve to the pump.
Well the short of it was I cut the pipe at a easy accessible point and had a local had guy fab a new hose then silver brazes the pipe together with a coupling on my own manufacture.
Many false starts attempting to replace the hose in situ failed miserably as the crimps were meant to be permanent .
I won't venture to estimate what the Factory repair (replace the part) would be because that pipe went from behind the left headlight then wend s it way into the engine compartment to the invisible pump.'
MB $ at least 2 Grand my fix $26.00 for a hose and crimp to my pipe.
thanks for the lift I bought a while ago

Bill
mercy-me likes this.
