Question Seats, wiring diagram? Craziness?

Hi Folks! It's been a long time since I've been on this site!

I've got a couple of questions for you folks with the R230 era SL:
  • How is the reliability of the seats, in general. I assume the air bladder portions are the weakest link. Does that control the lumbar and side bolsters only?
  • Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

Here's the long back story:

I'm building a school bus into a Motorhome / Toy Hauler. I found that this ERA SL had SIRS integrated seat belts, figured they would be heated, found out as a bonus they may be ventilated too, which sounds awesome. I found a pair, fairly clean in a semi local junkyard. Drove out to pick them up and realized ... oh crapola, the controls for all adjustments are on the doors. Now, I have to decide if it's worth digging in more, creating my own harnesses, control systems, etc. Do the panels on the door connect to the seat, or do they go to some crazy brain box, etc?

Thanks in advance for any / all info!

The seat control switches are wired to a computer module in the door, and the seat motors are wired to another computer module mounted in the seat. The two modules communicate with one another over a communication network (CAN).
