Bad preformance

Hello!

I'm having problem with the preformance on my car, the ESP/ASR light comes on and I have lost all acceleration. It seems like the bypassvalve is not working at all, this started right before my supercharger went total bad (using the old rotors now instead of the new bad ones) I wonder if the anti spin system is hooked up to the bypass valve? That it opens to reduse power to the wheels if they start to spin?

I havent gotten my cafsoft tools jet so I cant see if there is any cods.

IS there a way to find out if the bypass valve is working?

No ones knows if the anti spin system is hooked up to the bypass valve? That it opens to reduse power to the wheels if they start to spin? Can some one unplug the bypass valve and start the engine and see if the BAR/ESP light comes on?

Thanks

This is a great forum with heaps of info & energy, BUT!!!
Sometimes you just got to bite the bullet & take it to the dealer & get them to sus it out.
People buy these cars cause they are cheap now & they don't realize that things can happen to them & when it does they are screwed without the dealer.

Carsoft / DTC Code(s) will give you the answer...........even a Dealer would depend on reading the codes for diagnosis..........

As you have found out, the Kompressor clutch needs to be connected (even if not used) to keep the ECU happy.....there are codes that once set will prevent the performance combo of Kompressor - Variable Valve Timing from working...........

......clearing the codes may get things working again.....but you are better to be patient and diagnose the problem accurately when you get the Carsoft Multiplexer

DTC P0803 is a likely code....once set will turn off the 'Performance Package' off Kompressor/Cam Adj until cleared

....could even be the classic MAF problems (? related to your Kompressor rotor damage =>coating particles in intake)

IMHO a boost gauge is the best indicator of correct Kompressor/Bypass Valve operation........

......some have found the Bypass Valve works to defeat benefits from Kompressor/Pulley mods.....

Good luck with the Carsoft Multiplexer................

Problem fix by my own, took out the ECU (the thing next to the battary) and found a lead that was of, and joined it back together again and now it's of like a rocket again

I WILL NEVER TAKE IT TO THE DEALER!! I called them to see that the price are for a new bypass valve, and it was almost 6000kr!!!!! that's 1200 dollars!!!!! F******* a**holes.

stupid question

Is the ECU the same as ECM and is the K40 relay a part of it or is it in fact the unit itself?
