1997 SL 500 Seat Belt Extender Removal

Dear all,
recently bought a SL 500, Year 1997
The previous owner had a seat belt extension installed which I would like to remove and use the seat belt as stock.
I wanted to ask what would be the easiest approach.
I saw the original 90s seat removal but on the 97 I did not see any Philips screws in the front however there are two bronze screws with an S on it. A video or PDF would definitely help.

well

I managed to remove the seat cushion as well as the back of the seat, BUT I am stuck with the side panel around the seatbelt. I can't see if there are any further attachment points. Please help
