Visor end cap replacement done

This has been posted many a time. But in the event you new R129 owners need assistance, here it is.
New end caps arrived.
Pictures show the correct angle to facilitate removal of the actual visor.
You need to REMEMBER to also hold the shaft when tugging on the visor or you'll snap the stem. It takes effort and tugging while twisting the visor and pulling it off.

Same process on my other SL's. Hold the shaft when tugging on the visor and slight twisting and pulling.

I did not have mine at that angle.
While I was waiting for my wife in a shop, I finally removed the passenger side while sitting in the driver's seat!

There was no sign of an indentation on the rod, nor do I believe there is a "correct" position inside the visor.

Don't matter to me. Whatever works or whatever angle someone wants to use...go for it.
I followed the instructions from other threads on this site and the WEB.
Just thought I'd update it is all.
Enjoy your day.

Got my end caps done too just a few weeks ago, unfortunately, couldn't get hold of Tan vanity mirrors.
