Arrow Airbag Steering changed and now SRS lamp ON

Hi Guys !

I have changed the steering wheel to an aftermarket one (Wood Steering similar to Nardi) and right now the SRS light on the gauge cluster is on :/ [1993 SL500]
I heard I can make it disappear by using resistance, but I don't know how big resintance should I buy first to make it disappear ?

Thanks in advnace !

One could use the airbag emulator (designed for "testing purposes") https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-SRS-Air...cAAOSwOMBbPX-m or a simple resistor https://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-BMW-MERC...wAAOSwB-1Y18Sy

Regards,
D

P.S. How about a picture of this new steering wheel in your car?

John,

Unfortunately, not having one these any either one of my R129 I can't say for sure. However, based on what I see under search for "R129 Occupancy Sensor" - it is 3 wire plug, so if I had to take a guess, the resistor based simple 2 wire plugins as above will not work. There Airbag360 is this device that "promises" to take care of the issue:

You can build one yourself or buy one of these

Thanks guys I'll just buy this unit a lot easier than trying to figure out how to make it and blowing a module in the process
