Center brake light lens

I recently had a new light unit installed when the old LED unit had a bulb go out.
Today I looked at the car (in storage in the garage) and the center of the lens in bulging or bowed out, it is a bit separated from the light bar (there looks to be a attachment point between the lens and bar).

It's cold in the garage, Any chance that is to blame?

Any suggestions on how to fix?
Is there a missing screw...or is super glue called for?

Cold shrinks things as I am sure you are well aware of. Is the replacement factory or aftermarket?

It should be OEM, I bought it from a MB internet parts house and came in a MB box.

Since I originally posted, it has bowed a bit more, I can see what appears to be a clip on the center of the lens, it's no longer attached to anything.

Would epoxying it back together work?I

Also, how do I remove the trunk lid trim piece so I can get to it?

Don't know why you would mess with it. Take it back to them to correct.

I found out what happened, I gave my shop an OEM ONE unit to install.

They broke it trying to install it, apparently easy to do.
They bought a non-OEM replacement (no MB star on the lens, just some odd logo I don't recognize) in a few months of being in a heated garage in the winter, it warped.

Warning, don't buy non-OEM trim pieces.

So, now to buy another $150-175 OEM piece.

Wlb50, PM sent.

I don't understand why you are buying another one. They broke it, didn't tell you and now you are buying another for them to break. I don't get it. Good luck...

They don't like to install parts they do not sell. They installed it as a favor to me while other work was being performed.

I don't want to seem like a @$$ or jerk.

They do good work at reasonable prices...I don't really want to pi$$ them off.
