I'd love to replace the instrument cluster with the beautiful wood-and-chrome one they're selling. Are there detailed instructions on this forum for how to pull and replace the cluster? I saw the recent thread but there were no photos and the instructions were a bit vague. Links are welcome!

I s'pose I could have the local Autohaus do it for 2 hours of labor, as they recently pulled the cluster to find that the previous owner had removed the Check Engine light (a whole different story).

So true.

Don't forget about the R129 "blinking" LED Nokia antennas?
