Window Scrappers/Seals

Hey guys,

Was just curious if anybody knew of a source for the inside and outside window scrappers/seals. I've only seen the sl shop and was just curious if there were any other options?

Mboemparts.com has them for a lot more. I recently bought the SL shop ones.

They're not bad, but they will need to be cut to size for the convertibles. The outer scraper is only for the slc models. The door seal ironically acts as the scraper .

Just curious, does anyone know off the top of their head if the doors differ from the SL to the SLC? Or in otherwards would the seals on the SLC fit the SL?

I can answer this!

The inner seal can be used on an SL but will need to be cut to size . The original SL seal has an L shape to it, but I've found it to be unnecessary. The SLC seal is slightly longer than the SL one.

The outer seal cannot. To do the outer seal you will have to replace the entire seal that goes around the door.
