Your car looks as good as most, even without the prop in #159.

The topless ones I remember over the years include Jaguar XK150 and XKE, Austin Healey 3000 Mark lll, Triumph TR3 and TR4A, MGTD, MGA and MGB , Sunbeam Alpine, and both my 190SL and current 107. Also, domestics like my first car, a 1962 Chevrolet Impala convertible, and a 1974 Buick Le Sabre convertible. The trouble I've always found is that I could never get the wife to go topless with any of them!

You can't get us confused. I'm also "Nice", but NYYYCE is NEVER "Easy"!

The secret to happiness? Stay away from assholes!

Yeah, #159 was a show stopper :-)

Your gold SL is beautiful and I agree with what you stated.
I encounter folks looking for a hobby car and tell them about
our R107s being so less expensive than most other show cars
and they still shy away because they think they are so expensive
to maintain. Anyone interested in a 30+ year old Mercedes had
better subscribe to this forum and be willing to do most of their
own work, then these cars are relatively inexpensive to maintain.

My favorite (next to my 107) was my 1963 Midnight Blue 327 Corvette StingRay. I never should have sold it.

Nobody gets out of this life alive.
