560SL Loose Door Handle "Fix"

The driver's side door handle (actually the handle frame) loosened up on my 560SL. Immediate thought was I had to pull the door card. Got to thinking about it and realized that years ago this had happened before. Also knew I had fixed it without removing the door card. Checked it out and there is a Phillips head screw that is partially hidden by the door seal/rubber. The fix...tighten the screw. Sometimes things are too easy...

Good to know. My door hand is a little loose and I was going to live with it since I had a better reason to pull the door apart. Will have to check now if this fixes my issue and avoid the wait.

I'll admit, this posting did pique my interest.
Made me get up and go out to the Garage and see where that screw was.
Good information to know just in case my door handles get loose.

1985 and earlier models have two screws. They are not as easy to see.

This also made me get up, go to the garage, and check on my 1983 380SL.
There are two phillips screws.
