'107 Fixit Squad Needed'

Help Needed in Waukesha, WI area.

I am having back surgery May 6 and won't be able to work on my 107 for several months

The Red Roadster needs a small group to perform some repairs:

Rust hole in left inner fender
rear swaybar links
relay mounts above fusebox
replacement Hirschmann antenna installed (74 450SL)
Flexible fuel lines replaced
Any chassis problems found (not sure there are any)
turn signal switch installed.

Anything that doesn't get done will be worked on over the Winter.

Thank you.

Thanks, joser. It would be fun supervising a group and doing what I can.

Sounds like bullshit.

I'm having surgery, too. Can someone come cut my lawn?

OK, just kidding. I'm hoping it's bullshit.....but if not...good luck with the surgery and recovery.

Thanks for the good wishes. Same to you.

No, nobby, it's not BS. Well, it is bs--Back Surgery. The surgeon says I'll be laid up most of the Summer and not able to bend and twist like needs to be done working on a car--especially a 107.

It's artificial turf--but don't tell Nobby. If he wants to cut it, it's up to him...

Nature's joke.

Hours of work pulling weeds, air rating, fertilizing, seeding and cutting....only for green lawn 5 months of the year. The rest of the time covered in snow and frozen solid.

And then start all over again.
