Nice way to spend the evening

Just whiling away some free time this evening in the garage with some accoutrements. No projects. No tinkering. No driving. No planning or plotting. Just sitting and enjoying. The wife thinks I'm a bit off my rocker. Does anyone else do this sort of thing?

I always liked the seats of our cars before the w126 change.

Would love to turn one into an armchair.

That sounds cool! But if there's a wife involved, I think it's safe to say that armchair will live in the garage.

considering the amount of a gear head she is, and the fact ive got a tunnel ram n carbs with a bird catcher sitting on a vintage safe in the living room and she likes it there.....or HER saying that the pepsi machine needs to go in the living room when everythings done...

yeah so see if making a car couch without it looking bad was a possibility we would allready have one, thing is..you cant widen a body that far without it looking bad..trust me ive toyed with the idea

as for planning my moves, shes seen my finished products and understands the "art" to the builds..like any sculpture or painting sometimes youve gotta stand back and figure out how to make it all come together...i dont do "stock" very well....my 58 ford is as close as it gets very era correct and stock appearing but far from it but its all ford in there, these days i prefer to mix jdm, euro, and aremican all in the same pot and see what comes out
