What is this 560SL transmission part?

I have a transmission fluid leak from the circled electrical part. Could someone tell me what this part is? I'm unable to find any transmission diagrams showing this.

Kick down Solenoid. You need that piece. Fix the leak with an O ring and a couple of AL washers.

Wow - that transmission looks so clean you could eat off it! Is it new? Is the rest of your car in that condition...looks incredible!
