560SL wheel alignments.

Does anyone have a genuine MB document that has the Mercedes Benz wheel alignment procedure and specifications for the 560SL.

The service CD does not have this.

Not what you're looking for, but your local library will most likely have a subscription to all data if no one can provide the real McCoy.

I think this is what you’re looking for.
I can scan it and provide a better copy if you’d like.

That does look like it. If you can scan me a copy I would appreciate it. Is there a page that discusses how to weight the car. Also what manual is that in?

I have never seen a local library offer that but definitely worth checking.

Thanks for the heads up.

They're generally on the digital subscriptions which can be found on the computers alongside access to digital journals and other publications.

It's pretty rad and worth a visit if you get tired of the bad FSM pictures 😎

Thanks RTL for posting the service manual.

I liked it so much I purchased one on E-bay for $75.00. Unfortunately it has the alignment specifications and changes to the procedure from previous years but not the complete procedure.

So one thing I was able to get out of the manual was that the alignment tools required were all 115 series tools. As many of you are aware the 107 shares the same front end as the late 60's 115's.

Yes that means my 400HP 650Lb V12 is now sitting on a subframe designed for 65HP 4 cylinder diesels.

In any case it appears that I needed to go back in time to when the suspension was conceived to get the info.

So I found a 1968 114/115 chassis manual on E-bay for $18.00 delivered. Evidently no one wants 114/115 manuals. There definitely is more information available and possibly all I need to get what I want but not really what I would call a detailed procedure.

So I found another manual called the "Tuning and Maintenance Manual" Volume 1. I assume since it is volume 1 that there is a volume 2. I sent a message to the E-bay vendor asking if he can check to see that it has a detailed procedure. Hopefully this will have what I need.

WTF is with MB's manuals. These are the most poorly arranged manuals I have ever used.
