Raw gas from Fuel distribution center

Should I be getting raw gas thru the rubber boot which ties the fuel distribution center to the lower plenum, or just air? Shouldn’t the gasoline be traveling via injector lines to injectors? I have gas running thru the boot and extreme over rich condition. Thanks for any advice!

No, that's not normal. It should pipe directly to the injectors.

I would check your cold start valve. It might be leaking.

Isn’t the cold start valve on the front end of the manifold? I am asking, because I am not sure. What I think is the cold start valve would not leak into the rubber boot under the fuel distribution center. But I am not sure?

If I understand the symptoms that you are explaining ..... plunger in the FD....if it was leaking would be one of the only ways.
