GTG Little Switzerland Blue Ridge Mountains 2019

I just want to gauge if there is any interest at this point.
There is a mountain resort called Little Switzerland, it is about 1 hour from Asheville, NC off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The resort is surrounded by great driving roads and phenomenal scenery. Throughout the year it is the base camp for numerous car and motorcycle clubs.
Would anybody be interested to do a long weekend in the mountains with the R107. September is their off season and they would be able to easily accommodate a group of us.
Available dates would be
13-15 of September 2019
20-22 of September 2019
27-29 of September 2019 (the local Ferrari club booked already a block of 12 rooms)

Think about it and let me know.
Visit Little Switzerland, North Carolina

I'll be free 13-14 September 2019; looks like a great area.

Not to throw a wrench into the works.....but I am only available 27-29 of September 2019.

And at that....I am thinking of maybe only doing the Great Barrington GTG next year as that one always guarantees participation.

I'm getting weary of doing 1600 mile drives and having only a couple of participants.

I do like driving and I do enjoy the people that do show up.....but a big investment for small returns.

That certainly is a pretty section of the country.

Ten to fifteen years ago. we spent a few years traveling around the entire country in our RV with the Harleys in tow, and during those years, we spent about 2 weeks riding the bikes from the beginning of the Sky Line Drive followed by the entire distance of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Asheville can be either a great destination or just a lovely stopping point.

We're in our 70's now, and I'm not sure I'd want to do any of that again, even in the 107, especially since we're in upstate NY, but the fall is a great time of year to see so much of what this part of the country has to offer. Believe me, whether you're on the back of a touring Harley, or comfortably settled into the seats of a 107, the trip you're proposing certainly sounds like a wonderful GTG.

I'd give serious consideration to joining the opportunity to do it all again if it the calendar still read 2003 or 2004, but I don't have the strength or desire to tackle a trip like this so far from home, even in the 107!

Hope there's a lot of interest and a great turnout. This is a nice opportunity for a GTG, especially if you've never been through that area of the country. I'll just settle for GTG's that are closer to home.

Nobby, this thing is not going to happen if it is less than 10 cars. This is why I posted this thread, gauge the interest and decide if to move forward. The block of rooms has to be reserved probably within the next couple of month.
